BIANJ 24th Annual Seminar

Harrison J. Gordon, a Senior Partner of the law firm of Gordon & Gordon, P.C., 505 Morris Avenue, Springfield, New Jersey, was an invited speaker at the Brain Injury Association of New Jersey’sHarrison Gordon leading a seminar for the Brain Injury Association of New Jersey seminar entitled “Brain Injury: Creating Opportunities Through Winning Strategies” at its 24th Annual Seminar on May 17, 2006. The Brain Injury Association of New Jersey, Inc., is a statewide membership organization dedicated to providing education, outreach, prevention, advocacy and support services to all persons affected by brain injury and to the general public. Attending this seminar were people with brain injuries, family members, professionals working in the field of brain injury, medical doctors, neuropsychologists, psychiatrists, neuropsychiatrists, rehabilitation nurses, social workers and those in brain injuries. Also speaking at this seminar was former NASCAR driver, Ernie Irvan whose racing career ended after multiple brain injuries who shared his story with seminar attendees.

He has educated other professional, medical and rehabilitation specialists, attorneys and the public by lecturing throughout the United States and he is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Brain Injury Association of New Jersey. On May 17, 2006, Mr. Gordon received a Volunteer Excellence Award from the Brain Injury Association of New Jersey for his dedicated efforts in the field of traumatic brain injury.

Mr. Gordon is the Past President of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America-New Jersey and was the former Chairman of the Automobile and PremisesGordon & Gordon Paralegal,  Darlene Abry at the Brain Injury Association Convention, May 2006 Liability Section of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America (National). Mr. Gordon was involved in many precedent setting cases including Pan Am 103, the Dupont Hotel Plaza fire in Puerto Rico, the Seton Hall fire of 2000 and was chosen by the Attorney General of New Jersey to be a member of the Tobacco Litigation Team representing the State of New Jersey against the tobacco industry which resulted in a precedent setting 7.6 billion dollar* award to the State of New Jersey.

Gordon practices in the fields of brain injury, wrongful death, personal injury, products liability, and prescription drug litigation.
